Our Heritage
The heritage of MicroAge can be traced back to when co-founder Jeff McKeever opened one of the first computer stores in the nation in 1976. The technology provided by MicroAge has changed dramatically over the past four decades. Whether the client request was for a micro-computer hobby kit in 1976, a vertical market accounting application in 1986, a nationwide rollout involving thousands of computer systems in 1996 or a server virtualization solution today, we are positioned to help organizations meet their technology needs.
The one thing that has not changed at MicroAge is the commitment to successfully meet client requirements. For over 30 years the MicroAge difference has always been based on the efforts of associates that work by the MicroAge Values. The success of MicroAge continues to be based on our ability to adapt to the changing technology needs of our clients.
