Jack-
First off, thanks for visiting MicroAge.com and reviewing my Aerohive solution. I am not very familiar with Tanaza either as a company or as a product line. I do know that as of right now, Tanaza only supports 6 WAP models –all either Netgear or Ubiquiti. Obviously, Tanaza has announced plans to support more models in the future. But when? And which ones? Let someone else be their ‘beta testers’.

Your client will value a wireless network that is easy to deploy, expand, and secure. Here are some additional features of the Aerohive HiveManager that you will want to compare against Tanaza’s offering:

•	Aerohive’s HiveManager Online is hosted within secure Tier IV SAS 70 Type II data centers.

•	Aerohive’s security policy template tool removes compliancy confusion and speeds deployment.

•	None of the customer’s traffic traverses Aerohive’s network. –biggie!

Thanks again and let me know if this helpful.

I found this company called Tanaza (http://www.tanaza.com) that looks like is doing the same but supports multiple different WI-Fi AP vendors. They have a cloud based Wi-Fi controller compatible with multiple different AP vendors like Netgear, D-link, Ubiquiti, TP-links. It looks a very interesting solution. Has anybody tried it out? It looks like they are much cheaper than Aerohive (that I like but many of my customer cannot afford). Therefore I must used very often low cost Netgear APs. Tanaza claims they can manage low cost AP in a Aerohive fashion. I'm interested in learning from somebody who used them.

Networking is always the bottleneck in the projects I've worked on, that's why I think networking guys deserve more credit.

Great post! I?m just starting out in community management/marketing media and trying to learn how to do it well ? resources like this article are incredibly helpful. As our company is based in the US, it?s all a bit new to us. The example above is something that I worry about as well, how to show your own genuine enthusiasm and share the fact that your product is useful in that case
